The award-winning Hampshire based Collard Group Ltd has procured 3 new Kiverco recycling plants for their depots in Nursling (Hampshire), Chilton (Oxfordshire), and Ewshot (Surrey). The new systems will process Construction, Demolition, Commercial, Industrial, and Household waste as part of a multi-million-pound investment that highlights the Company’s sustainability credentials.
Collard Group Ltd is a well-known family business that has been operating for over 25 years in the South of England. Rob Collard, Group Managing Director, founded the business in 1994 and, along with his dedicated team, has developed the business to become one of the largest demolition and waste management companies in the region. The groups latest investment will enable the company to handle and process more waste at each site and produce a higher quality recycled product for its re-processors.
Commenting on this latest investment, Rob Collard explains the reason why he chose Kiverco:
“We spent a lot of time looking at the companies capable of delivering high end, reliable waste processing plants and Kiverco came out on top. We wanted to increase the throughput rates at each site whilst ensuring we were maximizing the quantity and quality of recycling, reuse and recovery. By increasing our processing at each site we’re also able to reduce our vehicle miles and therefore our carbon footprint. Kiverco are seen as the ‘Rolls-Royce’ of waste processing plants and we are very confident that their systems will help us divert more waste from landfill and maximise the return on investment.”
The Collard team is committed to the highest standard of delivery in every project they undertake. Their integrated demolition, waste management, haulage, and recycling systems enable them to provide sustainable, closed-loop solutions that contribute to the circular economy of the South East.
Who is Kiverco?
Kiverco has been designing, manufacturing, and installing waste recovery plants for more than a quarter of a century and is a highly respected waste plant provider in the UK and worldwide. As well as providing their own range of robust products, they also integrate world-class partner technologies such as waste screens, optical sorters, and large drum separators into their waste systems.
Con Gallagher, Global Sales Manager at Kiverco, concluded on the new partnership with Collards:
“It was clear from our initial discussions that Rob and his Senior Management team wanted a reliable, high performance solution at each of their waste depots. We are delighted to be working with Collard Group to help them achieve their commercial and environmental objectives and are very grateful that they have placed their faith in us to deliver results.”
The first of the 3 Kiverco waste plants will arrive at Nursling in April with all 3 systems installed and running by the end of May. The plants will separate and recover a variety of products including fines, hardcore (brick/concrete), ferrous and non-ferrous metals, wood, rigid plastics, plastic bottles (HDPE & PET), cardboard, and an RDF/SRF product.
